A bookmatched pair of ultra-unique, gorgeous curly Koa. These pieces came from a truly unusual chunk of tree, and the patterning is not something we've seen before. The curl is beautiful, but it's the color gradient - moving from brown on the outer edge to almost white in the center - which sets these pieces apart from the norm.  The koa is solid and, apart from a few bug holes on the very outside bark edge, relatively flawless. Each piece is 12" along the bottom edge, 6" on the longer side, 3.5" on the shorter side, and .13" thick.
